What we do
Our flagship event. A day of keynotes, panels, and networking with leaders shaping the business of sport.
Sports trivia nights, fireside chats with industry leaders, and our annual Sports Industry Week.
A team of Queen's students passionate about sport, business, and building each other's networks.
About QSIC
Based in Kingston, Ontario, the Queen's Sports Industry Committee (QSIC) is a team of Queen's students passionate about the sports industry, running events that educate, inspire, and create opportunities for the next generation of Canadian sports-business leaders.
For the past seventeen years, QSIC has brought together roughly 140 students from across Canada each year through speaker events, workshops, simulations, and networking sessions. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that's earned recognition like "Conference of the Year" and "Most Charitable Conference" from the Queen's student body.
Our goal is simple: to show students that a love of the game can become a profession, and to give them the people and experiences to get there.
Direct conversations with executives, founders, and operators across the sports world.
A network of students who take sport seriously as a career, not just a pastime.
Run real events, manage sponsors, and build skills that translate straight to industry.
The QSIC Conference
Each year, the Queen's Sports Industry Conference brings executives, founders, and operators from across the sports world to Kingston for keynotes, panels, simulations, and networking. Our most recent edition, QSIC 2026, welcomed delegates from universities across Canada.
Hear directly from the people running teams, leagues, agencies, and sports startups.
Structured time to connect with speakers and fellow students serious about sport careers.
Leave with a clearer view of the industry's career paths, and the contacts to pursue them.
